Join your fellow postdocs at our annual Holiday party! Partners and spouses are welcome. RSVP by November 17th!
The PDA will provide main dishes, non-alcoholic beverages and games.
Please bring a favorite side dish or dessert to share.
Alcohol will not be funded by the PDA, feel free to bring your own (byob) or participate in our pot of contributions if you would like to drink a few beers or wine (we will not provide hard liquor) and we can bring some with the money collected prior to the event, recommended contribution 5 – 10 USD based on consumption.
Activities:
1. White elephant gift exchange. Basic rules: all presents will be wrapped (budget 10 $) each participant will in turn either chose a gift from the pile randomly or have the option to “steal” an already unwrapped gift (the person who lost their gift will get to chose again but can’t “steal” back).
2. Best Holiday themed sweater/T-shirt competition. The best outfit will win a gift.
3. Guess the weight: you will have to guess the weight of a gift and if you are closest to the weight you take it home.
